Knitted Cast On Tutorial

Hey everyone!  Today is the day to get started on our project for the Knit/Crochet Along using Ewe So Sporty Yarn!  It’s a great opportunity for me to tell you about a new resource here on the website, and a technique that we will be using soon if you choose to make the Double Deco Wrap (the knitted) project.

One of the requests I got for an improvement to the website was to link to all of my video tutorials, because unless you go back through the blog archives or to our YouTube Channel, you might not know what we have listed!  Ask and you shall receive!

It is still a work in progress, and you can be sure that I’m working to add lots of new videos, but for now, you can click here to visit our new Tutorial page!

And today, I’ve added a new video for working a Knitted Cast On:

I hope you find the video helpful, and are joining us for the Knit/Crochet Along!  I’ll be casting on this afternoon at Stitch Night with the combo chosen for me (too many colors to make the decision myself…ha!).  I love the colors so much, that I think I’m going to make both the knit and crochet projects just so I have a chance to use more yarn colors!!!  You can also check out the info on Ewe Ewe Yarns website about the first week of the Knit project here.

Next week, I hope to have a post for you about picking up stitches!

Happy Knitting & Crocheting Along!
